1 Person Was Shot in Rock Island on Sunday; Here is What We Know

There are reports of a shooting in Rock Island. 1 person was shot and transported to the hospital with injuries. The shooting happened Sunday around 1:30PM in the Douglas Park neighborhood in Rock Island at 5th Street and 15th Avenue - that's near the Century Woods apartment complex.. No word yet on the status of the injuries of the victim or who the shooter may be. Police are currently investigating and are asking for leads from any one who may have them. They did recover shell casing from the scene.
