Want to get out and see the Quad Cities on a bicycle but don't have one? No problem. The Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau has bicycles you can rent. They're available at the groups visitor centers in Davenport, Moline and Rock Island. Cost is $8 an hour, $28 for a half day or $40 for a full day's rental.

These bicycles are great for people who want to see the Mississippi from the Great River Trail or Duck Creek from The Duck Creek Parkway Trail without having to buy a bicycle. It's also great if you have visitors coming to town and want to show them the Quad Cities from something other than a car, boat or on foot.

According to Ourquadcities.com the Convention and Visitors and Bureau got new TREK bicycles this year. If you'd like to learn a little more about renting a bicycle you can catch an interview our content partner Local 4 News conducted with Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau Vice President of Destination Development Molly Otting Carlson here.
