Are you a hero or a villain? That's what you need to decide before heading out to the Friends of the Davenport Public Library's pub crawl. The heroes and villains themed pub crawl takes place Thursday evening April 12th at 5:30. The cost is $10 per person and you can register at all three library locations or online here. Participants will check in at the main library, receive their hero or villain wrist band and have the opportunity to bid on some great silent auction items.

Dressing up as your favorite hero or villain is recommended too. How many times can you do that in your adult life and get away with it? Maybe on Halloween when you're taking the kids trick or treating ... but on a random Thursday after work? Almost never. So pull out the Superman cape, the Catwoman ears, or that old Joker costume and join what the library is calling "The Crawl of Justice". There's another good reason to dress the theme: discounts at some of the establishments on the crawl for participants in costume.

After checking in at the library, heroes will start their crawl at Endless Brews, while villains will start their crawl at Boozies. The $10 registration fee and wristband will entitle participants to discounts on exclusive hero and villain drink specials at each establishment. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Davenport Public Library, a volunteer organization that supports library services and programs for all ages.
