Patrick Kinas has traveled all around the country, including spending time with the Clinton LumberKings, in his broadcasting career.

Kinas spent some time in the Midwest League in the early-1990s, but in the last month, Kinas worked with Westwood One (which we carry here on 93.5) and helped out with their Olympics coverage.

He had to step away from his full-time gig as the broadcaster for the Durham Bulls to leave for Rio.

"Despite my fatigue, it was an experience of a lifetime and I wouldn't trade it for anything," Kinas said.

Kinas got to cover one of the more popular sports of the Olympics on the radio: swimming. He got to cover Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Katie Ledecky, and other world-class swimmers.
