They say no one is more popular than the backup quarterback. Mark Sanchez is certainly proving that.

Shortly after Sanchez led the Philadelphia Eagles to an easy victory over the Carolina Panthers, he made good on a promise to stop for cheesesteaks, with several fans turning up to see him.

Sanchez, who's filling in for injured starter Nick Foles, showed up at Pat's and Geno's for a steak at each. He took selfies with fans, went behind the counter and, of course, enjoyed some grub.

Not too bad for a backup QB -- right Jets fans?
