QC Farmers Market Opens This Week

You know spring is here once our local farmer's markets open. I know the week has just begun, but I'm looking forward to the season opening day of the Freight House Farmers Market this weekend.

The outdoor market at 421 W River Drive, Davenport opens at 8 a.m. Saturday. You'll find dozens of vendors, food trucks and more outside near the riverfront. As an added bonus the St. Ambrose University Drumline will perform in the morning to kick off the market. It's free to browse the market that's open until 1 p.m.
