Despite the rise in what I like to call 'microbrew' coffee shops, Starbucks is still quite popular.

According to a Local 4 News report, the city of Moline's Committee of the Whole approved rezoning for another Starbucks to be built at the corner of John Deere Road and 7th Street in Moline.

The strictly drive-thru version of the coffee behemoth would be located on the Unity Point Trinity property where a farmer's market has setup shop the past few years.

If the full Moline council approves the plan when they meet on November 7, construction is hoped to begin in the spring.

Do you still enjoy Starbucks or do you prefer local 'microbrews?' Sound off in the comments.
