Hawkeye fans, you'll have a little longer to either celebrate after a win, or drown your sorrows after a loss this season outside Kinnick Stadium.

Athletic Director Gary Barta made the announcement last night during a conference call with season ticket holders.

Normally, fans have three hours after the end of a game to continue consuming alcoholic beverages.

That number will be increased to four hours for 11 a.m. kickoffs, 2:30 p.m. games will stick with the three hour policy.

Even though I'm not a Hawkeye fan, this might give me a little incentive to get over to Iowa City for a game or two (especially when they play my Fighting Illini on October 10th).
