Augustana Hosting First Two Rounds of NCAA Tourney this Weekend

The Augustana College Men's Basketball team has been the top ranked team in Division 3 basketball nearly all season, and this is the time of year where it pays off.

The D3 tournament begins this weekend, and Augie gets to host the first two rounds at the Carver Center, where they're undefeated this season.

Friday night, the Vikings take on St. Louis area school Westminster at 7:30.  The Blue Jays hold a 12-15 record but are coming off a weekend which saw them win their conference tournament.

Hope College (24-3) and Mount St. Joseph (18-9) will also play at the Carver Center Friday at 5:30 p.m.  The winners of the two games will meet Saturday night at 7:30 for a spot in the Sweet 16.
