Iowa Lottery Released Thousands of Social Security Numbers

Questions are being asked after it was revealed that the Iowa Lottery released nearly 3,000 Social Security numbers of winners back in 2011.

CBS 2 reports that the information was released as part of an open records request, and the numbers were posted on the internet recently. The information was removed this past Sunday.

The Social Security numbers belonged to folks who had won over $600 from the Iowa Lottery.

This breach is one more reason for me to hang on to my money and use it for a sure thing.
