It’s Election Day in Iowa

Lately we've seen heated debates over the flag and the anthem. What they stand for. How we should or shouldn't behave before them. At the end of the day, they are representations of the rights we have in this country. No right is more precious than the right to choose those who govern us, or to abdicate that right as a protest.

Today is Election Day in Iowa.  Many municipal races are being held in communities across the Quad Cities area.

We seem to focus heavily on the Presidential races, but it is these local elections that affect you and your family the most.

So, if you want to honor a veteran, or show pride in your country, the best thing you can do is vote today.
