It’s Football Season Full Steam Ahead in the Quad Cities

Too early for football season? Not when you're getting your fix in the Quad Cities.

It's been 10 years for QCA football fans to see the return of their favorite team. Indoor football made it's way home, once again, in downtown Moline. The Tax Slayer Center, home to the returning Quad City Steamwheelers, saw a win against the Chicago Mauraders last night.

What an incredible feeling for the team, our community and the fans, not to mention the owners who helped bring a coveted Quad City tradition back this year. According to KWQC.com,

"Nearly four-thousand tickets were sold for the home opener today. Team Owners, Doug and Crystal Bland say they came back because the QC community is one of the most electric fan bases."
