U.T. Guard Tray Buchanan Named First Team All-State

United Township's boys basketball team made a magical run to the Illinois Class 4A Elite Eight this season, and much of that success is due to one guy.

Tray Buchanan was named First Team All-State today by the IHSA.

Buchanan helped lead the Panthers to a Western Big Six title and put on great performances in each of their five postseason games.

U.T. finished their season with a lopsided loss to #1 ranked Simeon, but the Panthers look to be even better next year as they get Buchanan back for his senior campaign.
